How to Cold Contact Business Owners via Email

Need to reach out to local business owners, but don’t have their email addresses? Here’s a quick way to find them:

1) Look up their business name (business entity search) at your Secretary of State’s website and look at their business creation paperwork for the registered agent
2) Go to http://email-format.com/ and look up the URL of the company’s website- this will hopefully give you the format that the company uses for their email addresses
3) Go to http://mailtester.com/testmail.php and input what you think the owner’s email address is using the format(s) from steph 2 until you find a working email address for the owner
4) Send them your message, which is a subject for another post 🙂
